With all of the different closet designs to think about when you are trying to get that space in your home organized, you will need to take into consideration a few key things, such as what you need to store the most of. If you have many different pairs of shoes for example, then you might want to invest in cubby. It can really come in handy for all those pairs of shoes that are scattered all over the house right now. You will finally have a place to put all of them so you don’t need to run around when you are looking for a certain pair.

If your problem is a lack of space for all of your clothes, you might want to think about getting more closet rods on which to hang them. There are a lot of different organizers available that provide multiple poles, racks, or holes on which you can hang your clothes. It will work for pants, shirts, sweaters, t-shirts, or any other type of clothes you need to hang.

Buying a closet organizer or closet design kit isn’t enough. You’ll also need to draw up a basic plan on how to use them. Without a plan, you might quickly revert to a sloopy and unorganized closet.

Even if you don’t have a lot of space in your closet, there are still a number of things you can do to make sure that you will never again have to worry about which closet designs to use. Putting a couple cabinets in a walk-in closet can be a great idea, especially for all those miscellaneous items that have nowhere else to go.

Shelves also come in handy a lot of the time when you need a place to put hats or shoes. You can mount them above the closet rod on the top of the inside space. This will give you a nice place to put whatever you need to store that doesn’t have anywhere else to go.
