Acne Vulgaris, frequently known as pimples, is an inflammatory disorder of the skin. This affliction is very prevalent in puberty. As a person reaches their early twenties, it either disappears or diminishes. Acne starts as a result of the comedo, an enlarged hair follicle plugged with oil and germs. The comedo is undetectable to the naked eye and is situated below the surface of the skin. Whenever it gets the correct conditions, it becomes an inflamed lesion. The oil produced from the skin facilitates microorganisms to flourish within the swollen follicle.
